Ranbir and Deepika are such good performers I can’t even.

Years ago in Bollywood good performers in song/dance numbers didn’t used to be such a novelty but in the face of actors and actresses posing and gyrating and this is supposed to be called ‘dancing’ I could watch songs like Dilliwaali Girlfriend over and over again.

It just makes me so happy I don’t even think you understand.

Yash Chopra, peace be on his soul, always worked with people who were currently most popular. It just so happens that those people were great actors. Katrina is not. But she is currently most popular. Hence good enough for Yash Chopra - whose Jab Tak Hai Jaan was a mess and terrible film anyway.

Contrary to what people like to throw around, there are people who do not think Katrina cannot act and it has nothing to do with jealousy. She herself most probably knows she has no great acting chops and chooses undemanding roles, and she is doing a great job controling her career. People find her pretty, pleasant off screen and like her dancing. Those are her assets. Acting is not.

It’s ignorant to think that just because someone was cast in a Yash Chopra movie they must be a good actor. Absolutely not. Why does someone have to be jealous of an actress just because they don’t think they deserve to be raised on a pedestal for something they cannot do?
