This is for Bollywood photoshop nerds only:
What I love about SLB’s art direction is that the same PSD works on just about all his movies good job Mr. Bhansali
I hate it when things dissing skinny people just to make larger people feel better are considered “body positive”. No, there’s nothing positive about trying to make others hate their bodies just so you can love yours. If the only way you can build up your self esteem is by making other people feel like shit, you obviously have some serious problems.
You may have heard of a song called “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor. It’s rather popular right now, mostly because it has some really good messages for larger girls. I have no problem with making bigger people feel better about their bodies, but if it involves being mean to us “skinny bitches”, it’s not okay.
I don’t get why people think it’s okay say things like “omg you’re soooooo skinny!!” and “you look anorexic lol eat a cheese burger!!”. It’s almost like “skinny” and “anorexic” are becoming synonymous. Why is it okay for you to call me anorexic, but absolutely terrible for me to call you fat? Why is it that you get to love your curves, but I can’t love my bones? It’s not like I’ve never eating pizza or cupcakes in my life, I’m just naturally this way. I have a fast metabolism, it’s not like I WANT to be this thin!!
Even some of my good friends have body shamed me before. One of my larger friends told me that if I ate meat I wouldn’t be this skinny. My vegetarianism isn’t a problem, nor is my weight. I’m tired of being criticized for my size.
*whispers* Its almost hoodie season
Which means stick to well lit and highly populated areas at night if you’re Black.
